John 13:7

John 13:7
Jesus replied,
"You do not realize now what I am doing,
but later you will understand."

although in times of sadness and sickness,
it feels like we are being punished...

it is the exact opposite.

God desires to bring us closer to him
all the time.
we can never be too close to him... EVER.

if we can keep the mindset that through our
suffering, there will be peace,
then we will be able to conquer a lot more in this
life.

if we can see past the hurts that people have caused us
and see past the hours of despair
and sorrow...

if we could just see that what is happening now
might be extremely painful,
that it is also extremely purposeful.
and we are NOT supposed to know everything.

we may not be able to understand why something is happening
or what we did to 'deserve it'

but later... we will understand.
just let God be God
and us humans, be humans.

until we can finally meet our divine maker

and he will wipe away all the tears from our eyes.
