preach it preacher

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word of God.
Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not.
Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people
with good teaching.

i think its pretty funny that a year ago i was a
drug addicted prostitute,
and now,
i have dreams of becoming a preacher.

it just goes to show the amazing power that Jesus has.
and becuz hes delivered me,
i have a strong desire to preach the good news to others.
very strong.

i also have dreams of going to Israel to minister.
Pastor Don is working on setting up a Teen Challenge in Israel.
for us believers- can u imagine the dynamics in Israel????
the spirit that rests there???

im not very educated about different countries and
in school, geography and history were my WORST subjects.
but i want to learn now!
i want to learn about Jesus
and everything that has anything to do with him.

im getting ready to start Bible school in september here at Brooklyn Teen Challenge and feeling intimidated.
i dont know much about the stories in the Bible.
and the other students here seem to know a lot more than me.
and i feel really inadequate.
but Pastor Don told me not to worry,
becuz everything that i needed to know to get set free-
i learned through the Spirit.
i found memorizing and speaking out scriptures to be the
most help.
along with praying and begging to be free.

and when im done with school,
i will be able to preach.
so i keep praying for direction
and a clear path as to what i will be doing
and where i will be going.

although, half the fun is
NOT KNOWING!!!!
